Student on Side
It's just so frustrating that I have to start over every time I fall.

This achievement is rather difficult and is considered quite hard. Due to its hard difficulty, the power cell reward for this achievement is higher than most achievements. Infinite Mode level achievements are usually not affected by this and they still keep their 25-75 power cell rewards.

Introduction[]

A True Engineer is an in-game achievement in Run 3. This achievement is found in Plan C, part 11.

The Angel is the only character that can beat this achievement.

Gameplay[]

As you can see from the requirement, you have to use the Angel to earn this achievement. Although not many players have bought the Angel due to his expensive price, here are some tips on how to earn this achievement. Also note that using a glide counts as a dash. Try to jump normally without using the dash from platform to platform. At the beginning of the level, there are 2 platforms in front of each other to begin with. Then there are platforms on the sides of the tunnel. Because the platforms are small, only 3 tiles long, it's kind of tricky to land exactly on them. When there are huge gaps, try and jump towards the side of the tunnel so that the Angel will spin outside the tunnel and slowly go upwards, but don't go too far or you'll end up falling upwards since the tunnel is only 3 tiles long on each side so it is smaller than it appears to be. When jumping across platforms normally, try and skip one whole platform since the Angel isn't that slow, but only when the platforms are just one tile apart from each other. Save your dash until the very end of the level and you should be able to earn this achievement.

This achievement is easier backwards. Keep this in mind if you are stuck.

Trivia[]

  • This achievement was suggested as a companion to "Engineering Practice" where you had to beat Plan C, part 4 as The Angel. It was, however, rejected.

Achievement Walkthrough[]

Note: Since this achievement is hard to earn, please excuse the first 9 deaths I made. I would've done less if the recording wasn't so glitchy. You can just skip to the last 20 seconds of this video to see the actual guide.
